ABOUT
Hello!
¡Hola!
Bonjour!
@taytux
@naustie
I am the founder, owner, and primary operator of Creature Fair. I am passionate about integrating art and fashion by creating one-of-a-kind, wearable art pieces. I launched Creature Fair in 2017 as a way to make a bit of extra money doing what I love (being creative!). Watching my brand grow is a dream come true. Inspiration for color and texture is ample in nature, and this is where most of my creative direction comes from. A lot of these pieces are made in nature, whether I'm on the beach, at a park, or in my yard, nestled in a canyon. I hope that translates when you wear Creature Fair, and you feel your truest self... radiating pure color.
A little more about me. In my free time when I am not working on Creature Fair orders I love to surf and spend time at the beach, take my Australian Shepherd (Basil) on mini adventures, hunt for vintage clothing, discover new music, and read. I love walking around aimlessly, letting the inspiration pour into me whether it's a child's outfit on a playground, a pattern of an old woman's coat at the grocery store, or the color palettes of neighborhood gardens.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you stick around!
Katherine

What is slow fashion?
Put simply, slow fashion is the opposite of fast fashion. It encompasses an awareness and approach to fashion that considers the processes and resources required to make clothing. It advocates for buying better-quality garments that will last longer, and values fair treatment of people, animals, and the planet along the way.
